
Abdul Aziz Badla
Dr. Abdul Aziz Badla is a senior consultant ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon with more than three decades of clinical and surgical experience. He obtained his medical degree from Aleppo University and completed his postgraduate training in ophthalmology in Damascus, followed by advanced vitreoretinal fellowship training at El-Maghraby Eye Hospital in Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Badla has held several leadership roles, including Head of the Vitreoretinal Department and President of the
Ophthalmology Department at Saudi-German Hospital in Dubai. He is currently serving as the President of the Middle East Africa Council of Ophthalmology (MEACO) and has previously been President of the
Syrian Ophthalmological Society.
