Dr. Ismail Saeed Al Ghamdi is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Pediatric
Ophthalmology, Strabismus, and Anterior Segment Surgery. He currently serves as a Board
Member of the Saudi Ophthalmological Society and is a Consultant at King Saud Medical
City, Riyadh. He has held consultant positions at several leading tertiary institutions in Saudi
Arabia and previously served as Head of the Eye Unit at King Khalid University Hospital. Dr.
Al Ghamdi has contributed to major ophthalmology textbooks, including Duane’s
Ophthalmology and Curbside Consultation in Pediatric Ophthalmology, and has received
multiple Best Teacher awards, most recently in 2025.
