
He graduated in Medicine from the International University of Catalonia.
Subsequently, he specialized in Ophthalmology at the KBC University Hospital in Zagreb.
Throughout his postgraduate training, he broadened his surgical expertise by attending numerous operative sessions as an observer and by undertaking hands-on surgical training at the Centre d’Oftalmologia Barraquer.
He was actively involved in the research project “Phaco-ersatz,” developed under the “J. Barraquer” Chair at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, contributing to advancements in anterior segment surgery research.
He further strengthened his academic profile as a Research Assistant at the Ophthalmic Biophysics Center within the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute (Miami, USA), where he collaborated in research focused on ocular biomechanics and anterior segment analysis Professional Activity He is currently an Ophthalmologist in the Cornea and Ocular Surface and Refractive Surgery Departments at the Centre d’Oftalmologia Barraquer (Barcelona, Spain), with clinical focus on corneal pathology, refractive surgery, and anterior segment procedures.
