My main interest is Strabismus Surgery and Myopia control. My PhD was in the use of Botulinum toxin injection to treat strabismus and oculomotor palsies, which was presented at the University Complutense of Madrid in 1992. I have publications in different Strabismological domains such as Consecutive Exotropia, DVD surgery, Brown syndrome surgery, Highly Myopic restrictive strabismus, Transposition surgery in oculomotor palsies, the use of various surgical techniques for Infantile Nystagmus, evaluation of extraocular muscles with OCT and the use of Topical Anesthesia in Strabismus Surgery. I am a co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed articles published in journals and more than 20 chapters of Strabismus books.
