Santiago Abengoechea Hernández

Vitreoretinal surgeon at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Barcelona, and is an ophthalmology specialist. He complemented his education with a training period at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami with Dr. Philip Rosenfeld. At the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre, his subspecialist area is vitreo-retinal surgery and he is the coordinator of Age-Associated Macular Degeneration (AMD) treatments and the Optical Coherence Tomography Department.
